A stray cat jumped on my car and asked me to take her kittens home..

We do street feeding daily and often come across unique cases. While we can’t share every story on YouTube, cases like Simba, Coco, and Lusi—which we haven’t posted—are available on our Instagram.

This particular day started like any other. I was rushing to my car when a scrawny calico stray suddenly jumped onto the hood. Her eyes were urgent, her meow raspy. It felt like she was trying to tell me something.

When I offered my hand, she nuzzled it and relaxed. Trusting my instinct, I followed her. She trotted ahead, glancing back to make sure I was behind her. A few blocks later, she led me to a hidden spot behind a grocery store.

There, nestled in old boxes and weeds, were four tiny kittens—barely days old, helpless and mewing. The calico gently nudged them, then looked at me as if asking for help.

I couldn’t leave them. I brought them all home. The mother, now named Calypso, was nervous but didn’t resist.

Today, my apartment is a mini kitten sanctuary. The babies—Leo, Luna, Pepper, and Shadow—are growing strong, and Calypso is learning to trust again.
