Just saw a video I can’t stop thinking about: a starving bear cub, ribs showing, trying to survive behind a closed gas station…

Just saw a video I can’t stop thinking about. A starving bear cub, all ribs and hesitation, climbs into a dumpster behind a closed gas station—just trying to survive. Then a wildlife officer shows up. No sirens, no shouting. Just quiet. He kneels down and holds out a piece of fruit. The cub freezes, scared. Then… a sniff. A pause. And slowly, it takes the food. That moment—so small, but it wrecked me. Not all heroes chase headlines. Some just show up, gently, when the wild is hurting and hope is all that’s left.
